Nine Lives Foundation
Why this organization?
Nine Lives Foundation is an organization I hold close to my heart. I had the amazing opportunity to work with this organization during my time living in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you have ever worked in the nonprofit/rescue world, you know that this job is not easy and often weighs on your heart but at the end of the day you are doing amazing work in saving the lives of so many. Nine Lives Foundation does their part in getting cats off the streets and into homes but most importantly provides low cost spay/neuters to the public and also participates in the TNR program to spay/neuter feral cats.
How can I help?
With every Cat pet sitting or Cat pet portrait purchased, I will be donating a percentage of the profits to Nine Lives Foundation. Since they are a nonprofit organization, they survive off donations and without funding they cannot continue to make positive impacts in their community. If you do not live in California, you can still make a difference locally. Nonprofits need volunteers, sign up at your local shelter and start savings the ones who do not have a voice.
